FAQs: Customization

How do I create customized dashboards?

  1. Log In to AlphaMetricx: Access the tool by logging in with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Dashboards: In the navigation menu, select “Dashboards” or “Create Dashboard” to begin, or Select “Custom” dashboard according to your choice to get started. If you are starting from scratch, find an option to create a new dashboard. Provide a name for this dashboard along with other required information.
  3. Add Widgets or Visualizations: Click "Add Widget" or "Add Visualization" to start displaying your data.
  4. Choose Data Source: Choose the data source for your dashboard. This could be a specific dataset, a database, or a data connection that you've previously configured.
  5. Customize and Arrange: Set up your widgets by choosing chart types, data fields, and filters. Drag and drop to arrange them as needed.
  6. Save and Share: Once satisfied, save your dashboard and share it if needed.

How do we share a dashboard?

  1. Step 1:Open the dashboard you want to share.
  2. Step 2: Click on the three vertical dots located in the top-right corner.
  3. Step 3: Select "Share Dashboard."
  4. Step 4: Enter the email address of the user you wish to share the dashboard with.
  5. Step 5: Click "Save" after entering the email.
  6. Step 6: To stop sharing, find the user’s name in the shared dashboard list.
  7. Step 7: Click "Remove" from the dropdown next to their name.

What filters and parameters can I use to refine my data?

Here are the set of filters that you can use.
  1. Time Range: Set a specific time range to narrow down the data to a particular period. This could include options to filter months, or custom date ranges.
  2. Data Source Filters: Specify filters related to the data sources you are using. For example, filter data from specific data sources available from the tool.
  3. Field Filters: You can apply specific filters for “Media types”, “Languages”, “Locations”, “Sources”, “Spam exclusions”, “Keywords”, “Sentiment” and “Range”.
  4. Boolean Filters: Use boolean filters to include or exclude data based on true/false conditions. For example, filter data where a certain condition is true.
  5. Combination Filters: Combine multiple filters using logical operators (AND, OR) to create complex filtering conditions.
  6. Geospatial Filters: Filter data based on geographic location or spatial characteristics. This is commonly used to analyze location-based data.

Is there a limit on the number of dashboards I can create?

Yes, the number of dashboards you can create is determined by your subscription plan. Each plan has a specific limit on the number of dashboards allowed. To check your current limit or upgrade your plan for more dashboard capacity, contact support at   support@alphametricx.com.
